ALL TOGETHER FOR THE SAME BATTLE
My dear friends,
April 27 2008, I sent you a message in which I told you the progress of my day on April 26, 2008. A day like no other. A day in which I been violently landed handcuffs on points, by Belgian police of the theft of 351 SN Brussels Airlines flights to Kinshasa via Douala, held in a cell of the Brussels International Airport for more than 10 hours.
I was landed with two others, a French-born Cameroonian and a white man because we, like many other passengers on that flight protested against the violent treatment, inhumane, unacceptable and intolerable injury to a paperless Cameroon awaiting deportation from Belgium. This young Cameroonian died on 01.mai 2008 in unclear circumstances in a detention center in Belgium. It will leave a terrible testimony to the police officers responsible for his expulsion he accused of having made such an impression after deportation attempt failed he was unable to eat, he was so sore jaw.
Since I had, as you know, filed a complaint with a civil action against X. I was for months in search of my companions in misfortune, convinced they were key witnesses to the events of famous flight SN 351.
Brussels Airlines had in turn led a campaign of disinformation by slandering me. He claimed that "I had violently opposed the presence of a deportee and encouraged other passengers to cause a riot on board while demonstrating verbal abuse and threats vis-à-vis the crew ..."
I was looking unsuccessfully for the companion in misfortune European type, convinced he was a witness important events that s’étaient produits dans le vol SN 351.
Enfin !
Il m’informât qu’il avait passé 36 heures de plus à Bruxelles et avait, alors he was waiting for another flight to visit Cameroon recorded everything that happened April 26, 2008 on his laptop. Finally, he would join us so that we led this fight together for justice and the memory of the late Folefack Sontsa.
Having been landed first, he had witnessed outside the plane of our landing muscled by the Belgian police. He gave me the details on our custody, the destruction of the video by police on its suspension of flights from Brussels Airlines and its inclusion on the blacklist of the company, the 36 hours of hell he had gone over to the Brussels airport before traveling with a Moroccan company to Douala. Brief testimony painful but very important result of our battle against Brussels Airlines and the Belgian federal police.
Another very important meeting will arrive a few days later, August 6, 2008. Quite by chance I came across Aaron Claude
Ndema Moussa, the French passenger from Cameroon with whom I had been unloaded and kept in his cell at the Brussels airport. I had not seen him since we parted at the sales counter of Brussels Airlines April 26, 2008. We are all three now joined together to continue the fight that I started.
A fight that will, we are aware of the long and arduous. It will require of us the courage, determination, aggressiveness, willingness, and resources.
This fight, we will conduct tomorrow so that such scenes can not recur in commercial flights.
We will carry with you, with you, so that unnecessary and unwarranted abuse of certain police stops, threats, intimidation and complicity of the airlines are only bad memories.
Your various messages of support, your calls, your initiatives from Brussels Airlines give us strength and courage to continue to denounce the unacceptable and demand that justice be done on this matter.
Since the beginning of this sad story, I'm joined by representatives of The League of Human Rights in Belgium and CIRE (Coordination and Initiatives for and with refugees and foreigners) who bring me available and effective very important legal assistance and moral support permanent.
My interests are defended by two lawyers available, great and very determined.
In the coming days, the case will move to a new phase. I I will be traveling to Brussels for interviews with investigators of the Investigation Department P Committee (Permanent Committee for the Control of the Police Department) and the investigating judge.
aware that I can carry out this fight standing with your support, I would now appeal to your solidarity, your help and donations to fund future Expenditures in this battle (in Brussels travel, court costs and fees of my lawyers).
Thank you in advance for your support and solidarity, and please send your donations by mentioning
